Overall, Inventory Management Explained does actually explain inventory management, and in doing so, exposes the good, the bad, and the ugly aspects of it.
But more importantly, it leaves the readers knowing enough to be able to start making smart decisions about how they manage their inventory. The book also describes the logic behind MRP and discusses Just-In-Time and Theory of Constraints.
I would not recommend this as an introductory book to inventory management but rather a book for those that already have some basic understanding of inventory management and want to.
